Good Dinosaur Movie Night!
Whew, it's been a while! But here I am! Once a month we do a big family movie night where I go all out and have yummy (junk) food, decorations and we do activities pertaining to the movie, etc. D-Man always seems to love it. And since we had our second child 2 months ago, it's a good tradition to have and keep! This weekend we did The Good Dinosaur. It's a Disney Pixar film in which a dinosaur (Arlo) is separated from his family and tries to find his way back home. On his journey he makes an unlikely friend (Spot) and the two battle the elements to get Arlo back home. This movie made us laugh and it even made myself and D cry. It was so cute, but D has never cried during a movie before so I felt awful! But we sure did have fun! The week leading up to movie night I made it Dino week in our house! D was given tons of Dinosaurs as hand me down toys a while back, but was terrified of them! So we kept the safe someplace he wouldn't see them and brought them out last ...
