First post!

Hello folks! Welcome! I am VERY new to the blogging world (so take it easy on me :-P) and I've thought about doing this since D was born 10 months ago. I feel like there are so many things that happen on a daily basis that I never considered before my son was born. Some of them are funny, and others are not so funny...but all experiences nonetheless, so I just wanted to share some of them. Maybe they will give some laughs, and maybe we will shed some tears, but buckle up because it's going to be a wild ride! :)

For those who want some background information on me here it goes! I am married to a wonderful man. I am the mother to a wonderful son who is 10 months old, for blogging purposes he will be referred to as "D." ( I'm sure he will be the highlight to my posts) :) I coupon, I organize, I craft, I do many things...some of them not so well, and others I do too well. I am not an expert at anything at all, so take what I say with a grain of salt, please! I don't want to be sued for anything, lol!

Farm week! Tot School

This week for tot school we had a farm theme! I keep things super simple, usually doing music, crafts, reading, and sensory play. My son is 2.5 years old and is very interested in learning! He loves books, and music and trying to do puzzles. Books!  This week we checked out a bunch of books for school. I also got some older kid books for my 5.5-year-old so he felt included! I'll include links to Amazon as well, but we got ours from the library! The Little Red Hen (Makes a Pizza)  written by Philomen Sturges and illustrated by Amy Walrod. This book was very cute with a twist on a classic! Down on the Farm  was written by Merrily Kutner and illustrated by Will Hillenbrand. It's been a while!

So I didn't have internet for a little bit, then I did, but it went out for daysss, then we switched providers, then they sent us the wrong modem and long story short, it's been a while for various reasons! :) But I'm glad to be back. I've got a few things I want to update with. First I would like to start with D's playroom! When we moved in almost 7 months ago, the room was pink. When we tried to paint it red, we realized it was too close on the color wheel and the red did not cover all of the pink (even though we primed the wall and had primer in the paint!) so we had redish walls for a while! I started painting it white with some left over paint I had, but the paint smelt terrible, so I stopped (afterall, it was D's playroom, and that room has a window but the window goes to a storage room and not a real window, so no ventilation)  Well, fast forward a few months and the room still looked like that!
