Summer bucket list!



So with Memorial Day coming up next week (I know, I don't believe it either!) I've been making a summer bucket list to do with the kiddos! We are a one car family so most of the items will be done in the evenings or weekends. I will,however, have the car two weeks out of the summer while my husband is away at his annual training, so that will give me more of an opportunity to do some of these fun activities!

These are just some ideas I have currently, there will likely be more added!



Summer Bucket List




 




·   Baseball game (FREE for gen. admission)
·       Zoo (FREE)
·       Park
·       Beach (FREE parking w/ mil I.D.)
·       Nature Center ($8 parking if no attendant/FREE if there’s someone at the booth)
·       Camping ($20/night + equipment)
·       Children’s museum
·       Bowling
·       $1 Movies (Tuesday & Wednesday)
·       Drive in movies
·       Ice cream dates
·       Library/book store—LOTS of reading
·       Go fishing
·       Watch fireworks
·       Go on a picnic

·       Have a lazy movie day

·       Balloon Fest
·       Tie dye shirts
·       Outdoor movie
·       Farmers market

Farm week! Tot School

This week for tot school we had a farm theme! I keep things super simple, usually doing music, crafts, reading, and sensory play. My son is 2.5 years old and is very interested in learning! He loves books, and music and trying to do puzzles. Books!  This week we checked out a bunch of books for school. I also got some older kid books for my 5.5-year-old so he felt included! It's been a while!

So I didn't have internet for a little bit, then I did, but it went out for daysss, then we switched providers, then they sent us the wrong modem and long story short, it's been a while for various reasons! :) But I'm glad to be back. I've got a few things I want to update with. First I would like to start with D's playroom! When we moved in almost 7 months ago, the room was pink. When we tried to paint it red, we realized it was too close on the color wheel and the red did not cover all of the pink (even though we primed the wall and had primer in the paint!) so we had redish walls for a while!
