Tot school-Day #2!
Hey out there! Welcome back!
Day 2 of Tot School was 50/50! D was extremely cranky in the morning and was not much into the morning's activities! We did two activities back to back and they lasted 20 minutes together. Much different than the day before. I think it had a lot to do with his crankiness, because he didn't even want to play with anything. He just wanted to be cuddled. So that's what we did until he went down for his morning nap.
ANYWAY,
We did a ladybug painting and I let him get use to using a bingo dauber (it was going to be used later that day.)
So we started with the bingo dauber. And he LOVED it. But he mostly just liked daubing his hand...haha :)
Yes, it ended up all over my floor. Nothing the vacuum couldn't handle! He really just started picking up handfuls of rice and dropping them on the floor. I took a video, so take a look!

Yeah, that's what his hand looked like all day yesterday! I washed most of it off, but in the afternoon, he did it again! :) I don't care much because he's having fun and that's all that mattered.
We then went on to do a ladybug painting. I cut out black dots to add, but let him do all the painting. He used a combination of a paintbrush and his hands.
The finished product! I knew he was done when he started to stand up and walk away, lol. So we washed him up and I added the black dots. It is now proudly hanging in our tot school/play room!
Later that day, after a nap and lunch we went back to do a few more things! I let him use the dauber on the letter "A" that I made on the computer. This was the finished product.
Yeah, he loved it, haha. Again, they are not going to master these letters, colors, or skills right away, but it is fun and I love to watch him explore. :)
The construction paper and rice was such a big hit that we did it again. And again it kept him occupied for 40 minutes together!
Alright, that's all for today, folks! :)
